Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Katarzyna Solinska, trading as SOL Homeopathy Kasia Solinska (“Practitioner”), a member of Homeopathy International (HINT) based in the United Kingdom. The Practitioner offers both in-person and online consultations via platforms such as Zoom. By booking or using any services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided
1.1 The Practitioner provides homeopathic consultations and remedies, both in-person and online, to support your well-being.
1.2 Consultations are available for clients residing in the UK and internationally, subject to local regulations regarding complementary medicine.
1.3 Online consultations are carried out through platforms such as Zoom or other similar video conferencing applications. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have a stable internet connection.

2. Medical Disclaimer
The Practitioner is not a licensed medical doctor and does not provide medical diagnoses or emergency treatment.

SOL Homeopathy is not an emergency service. In case of an emergency, contact a medical doctor, NHS 111, or emergency services at 999 in the UK, or emergency services within your own country of residence.

3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Appointments can be booked via website/calendar/email/phone. All clients are encouraged to use the booking system provided for efficient scheduling.

3.2 Clients must be 18 years or older and possess the capacity to provide informed consent to use the service.
3.3 Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or other methods as specified.
3.4 Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is cancelled within less than 24 hours or if the client fails to attend, 50% of the consultation fee may be charged.

3.5 Clients shall not send photos or images that include nudity or any private body parts, whether of children or adults.

3.6 The Client may be advised to consult their GP for health checks if SOL Homeopathy deems it necessary. Any changes to the Clients prescribed medication remains the responsibility of the Client and their prescribing practitioner.

3.7 The Client consents to SOL Homeopathy retaining records and personal information provided during or prior to a consultation.

4. International Clients
4.1 The Practitioner accepts international clients but may be limited by specific country regulations regarding the use of homeopathy. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that homeopathic treatment is legally permitted in their jurisdiction.
4.2 Remedies may be posted when necessary. Any customs or import restrictions are the client’s responsibility, and the Practitioner is not liable for delays or issues caused by customs in the client’s country.

5. Confidentiality
5.1 All information shared during consultations is strictly confidential. The Practitioner adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding data protection and privacy.
5.2 Consultations via Zoom or similar platforms are conducted in a private setting; however, the Clients are encouraged to use secure devices and internet connections.

5.3 Consultations are confidential between the Client and SOL Homeopathy and will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent, except as required by UK law.

5.4 SOL Homeopathy will securely store and destroy all personal data seven years after the date of the last consultation of an adult and seven years after the child reaches 18-years-old, in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 The healthcare services provided by SOL Homeopathy are intended to support and not replace any relationship that exists between a Client and their primary healthcare providers. The advice, diagnosis, treatment, and recommendations provided are based on the Client’s specific health information and current best practices in healthcare. SOL Homeopathy shall not be liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from factors outside of their reasonable control, including but not limited to, incomplete disclosure of medical history, undetected conditions, or non-compliance with prescribed treatments by the Client.

6.2 SOL Homeopathy makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the outcomes of any medical treatments, recommendations, or procedures. Homeopathic results vary, and individual Client responses can differ. SOL Homeopathy disclaims any liability for outcomes resulting from the Client’s use of the advice provided unless due to proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct by SOL Homeopathy

6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOL Homeopathy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, physical harm, mental distress, lost wages, loss of earnings, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In all cases, SOL Homeopathy’s liability for damages shall not exceed the fees paid by the Client for the specific service from which the claim arose.

7. Client Responsibilities
7.1 Clients must provide accurate medical and personal information during consultations to allow for the appropriate selection of remedies.
7.2 Clients must adhere to instructions provided by the Practitioner regarding remedy usage.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 This Agreement and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

8.2 Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom, and both parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

9. Amendments to Terms
9.1 The Practitioner reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be informed of any changes via email or during a consultation.
